ACMEGS

Academics

Each child’s intellectual and personal passions are important to us and so our academic programs are designed to allow learners to try new things, take risks, be independent and build self awareness. With a robust academic foundation and educators that encourages curiosity, opportunities to learn independently, we launch our students on a life long path to discover themselves with joy and enthusiasm for life, beyonds the walls of the school, with an ultimate aim of cultivating and nurturing them as global citizens.

School Curriculum and Pedagogy

‘Teaching learners how to learn’ - is the fundamental thought held by each educator of Acme Global School. To ignite and not just to impart is the belief followed by the educators of the school.

The importance of understanding and comprehending the concept and its application is valued rather than just ‘knowing’ it. Interactions in the classroom are learner centred and aim to draw out what the student thinks.

With the fundamental thought of ‘Teaching learners how to learn’, our pedagogy is based on Activity Based Learning, Collaborative Learning and Experiential Learning.

We ensure that academic skills are understood in context so that they may be applied only for good. Teaching and training in science, literature, history, mathematics, art or games is based on this philosophy.

With fundamental importance to the idea that ‘teachers are too, learners’,  teaching here is based on innovation and effectiveness with emphasis laid on practical aspects of education. Along with textbook teaching, research and projects are encouraged marking individual attention & continuous monitoring of growth an important determinant.

The  school atmosphere is very loving and caring with individual attention being paid to each child. Every effort is made to make the school environment safe and cordial, not only for the students, but for educators as well.
